The major sporting goods retail chains around the world raised their total sales by 7.4% to $87.0 billion, as shown in SGI's Global Retail Chart published in the Vol. 25 n°32+33 issue of SGI Europe, but not in the accompanying text. After rising by 28.2 percent in 2012, the turnover of the major sporting goods retailers in Brazil, China and the emerging markets of Southeast Asia increased by 15.9 percent in their local currencies last year, and not by 6.0 % as we wrote.
