The newly renamed Sports & Fitness Industry Association (SFIA) has given a few details about its plans for the 36-hour SFIA Industry Leaders Summit being held Sept. 25-26, 2013. Sessions will discuss topics such as how to manage geopolitical risk, an analysis of emerging markets, the future of sourcing, forecasting the merger-and-acquisition environment, and the convergence of technology in sports. The overlying theme of the event, which will be held in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C., area, is “the future.”
