The Norwegian company Mustad, the world’s largest manufacturer of fish hooks, has named Lars Lemhas, 55, as its new chief executive. He had previously held top positions at Tetra Pak Group, the food processing and packing company, in sales, marketing and general management. Lemhas replaced Hans H. Mustad, who stepped down to return to the board of O. Mustad & Son, the family company that owns Mustad. This private and secretive company, which is estimated to generate annual sales of about €50 million, recently sold its Russian sales subsidiary to its management. The company is investing heavily in its recently opened manufacturing plant in China.
