The number of daily visits at the Nissan Skipass, the 18-year-old Italian consumer-oriented snow sports show, declined this year to a total of 98,729 over the four days of the event, held in Modena from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2. The number was about 107,000 a year earlier. The number of exhibitors remained more or less stable at about 420 firms, representing some 800 brands and numerous ski resorts and sports clubs. Burton Snowboards and Head Ski sponsored a series of coaching session for about 400 kids, using part of the 800 tons of snow produced for the event.
