The Oberalp Group has agreed to distribute the highly technical Swiss X-Bionic and X-Socks brands of X-Technology in the Italian market under a new five-year contract, starting on May 1 with orders for the spring/summer 2019 season. The two Swiss brands were previously distributed in Italy and some other markets by their former Italian manufacturing partner and European licensee, Trerè Innovation, which will still handle deliveries of the next autumn/winter collections. As previously reported, the manufacture of the two brands is being shifted to two other Italian firms, Norman and Intersocks. Oberalp is the Italy distributor of important sports brands such as Fischer, Smith, Speedo, Spyder and Under Armour. It also owns major sports brands like Salewa and Dynafit.
