The organizers of Fibo China, which will be held for the second time in September, are preparing a Fibo China Road Show to take place in nine cities in China this year. At stops in Wuhan, Luoyang, Qingdao, Shenyang, Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Xiamen and Xi'an, club operators as well as trainers and fitness enthusiasts will get a chance to learn more about the fair, while exhibitors will be allowed to introduce their companies and products. The second Fibo China Fitness & Health Summit will be held during the fair, including prominent speakers from Europe and other international markets. Other events include the corporate Health and Wellness Management Conference, the Fibo China Fitness Convention and the National Bodybuilding/ Fitness Competition. The organizers are expecting more than 6,000 visitors at the fair, up from over 4,000 at the first event last year. Some major Chinese as well as international companies have already announced their participation, from Life Fitness to Precor, Sports Art, Star Trac and Technogym. Fibo China is organized jointly by Reed Exhibitions Deutschland, the company behind Fibo in Cologne, and Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions. They estimate that there are more than 16,000 fitness clubs, yoga and dance studios, Pilates centers, and martial arts and personal-training studios in China, and that the market has been growing at an annual rate of 8 percent in the last years.
