The organizers of the Moscow Ski & Board Salon, scheduled for next Oct. 21-23, are proposing the creation of a Child Art-Sport Zone, featuring sport contests, a drawing clinic and contest, a blow-up rock climbing wall, a slide, and other amusements for children up to the age of 12. This is because of a survey showing that more than 15 percent of the visitors are interested in products and services for children. Now in its 17th year, the fair is the largest winter sports event of its kind all over Eastern Europe and in the CIS countries. With 298 exhibitors from 12 countries on 12,000 square meters of space, it is expected to welcome some 40,000 visitors.
