Spanish firm Fumarel, which specializes in technical sportswear, will open a physical store in Madrid’s Moraleja Green shopping mall on Nov. 30. Fumarel ceased activity in 2008. In 2017, Pedro Domecq, the son of the company’s founder, relaunched it online. The new 170-sqm shop in Madrid will be the company’s first physical store since the company’s relaunch. A second store, also in Madrid, will reportedly open by the end of the year. Fumarel was founded in 1987 by Cosme Domecq and Gabriel Narváez. In its heydays, it reached a total of over 100 physical stores in Spain and the U.S.
