The Swatch Skiers Cup, a freestyle skiing equivalent to the Ryder Cup of golfing, is being launched this year. Eight freestyle skiers from the U.S. will compete with eight European freestyle skiers in Valle Nevado, Chile, on Sept. 5-12. Just like in the Ryder Cup, one skier from each continent will compete against one from the other. There will be a total of 32 points to compete for, and the continent with the most points after two days will be declared winner.
