The third edition of the Bread & Butter by Zalando fashion festival in Berlin registered 35,000 visitors, 16 percent more than in the previous year. It ran from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2, and the marketing event organized by the online retailer was apparently sold out every day. The festival comprised fashion shows, discussions among industry experts as well as musical performances by Lauryn Hill and Jaden Smith. Adidas and Nike staged concerts, and Columbia offered T-shirts customized with paintball equipment. The 43 exhibitors that participated in Zalando's festival also included sports brands such as Asics, Converse, Fila, The North Face and Vans. The products that were presented during the show were subsequently offered on Zalando's online store.
