The Thule Group raised its net income by 9.4 percent to 162 million Swedish kronor (€16.3m-$18.0m) in the third quarter, while its sales inched up by 1.7 percent to SEK 1,366 million (€137.4m-$152.3m), going up organically by 5.2 percent. Sales continued to fall in the Americas, declining by 8.8 percent in local currencies, due to weakness in the outdoor market and a cautious buying by bike dealers. They rose by 11.1 percent in local currencies in Europe and the rest of the world, driven by the company's Sport & Cargo carriers and the Other Outdoor & Bags segment.
