The Tom Morris Golf Shop, the 144-year-old store at St. Andrews in Scotland, has reopened after being closed for remodeling over the winter. The shop has a new “old” look, featuring furniture that Tom Morris himself owned and the same design for the shop's sign as was used when he opened it in 1866. The apparel and merchandise has a Tom Morris crest from the 1880s. Morris, considered the father of golf, founded his business making clubs and balls in 1848. Last year, Tom Morris Ltd. was bought by St. Andrews Links Trust, which manages the seven public courses at the famous golf mecca.
