The Vegam division of Spac, an Italian developer and manufacturer of technical fabrics and components near Vicenza, is partnering with the eVent division of General Electric to bring a new line of permeable and bi-component waterproof fabrics to European shoe companies. Spac will produce both three- and four-layer laminates for footwear that will make use of both eVent waterproof and eVent protective membranes.
