The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry has formed an Aquatics Committee to act as the water sports industry's representative body with international governing bodies such as the Féderation Internationale de Natation (Fina) or the International Triathlon Union (ITU), organizers of sports events, international standards institutions and non-governmental organizations. James Hickman, global sports marketing manager of Speedo, will act as the first chairman of the new committee. He will work with two vice chairmen, Franck Horter of Tyr and Greg Steyger of Arena.
