The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) has enlisted two more speakers for its Manufacturers Forum in Hong Kong on Dec. 2-3. Elena Fanjul-Debnam, director of Micro Solutions at Workplace Options, is to discuss ways to reduce employee stress by providing wellbeing services in emerging market factories. She has been based in Indonesia for more than six years, arriving there as a Fulbright Scholar. Before joining Workplace Options, she worked with several leading organizations to find sustainable business solutions to address development issues. An entrepreneur who has spent more than two decades in Asia-Pacific, Tyler Lyman, the chief executive of Micro Benefits, will talk about ways to use technology to support education and development for Chinese factory workers. Micro Benefits is a social enterprise committed to enhancing the livelihood of frontline workers, while enabling employers to generate cost savings. The convention, which is supported by the International Apparel Federation, will also touch upon production optimization, factory planning, and the circular economy. At the time of writing there were only a few seats left for the event.
