This spring, Stadium will enter the bicycle market with its own line of bikes under the brand name Occano. The new bicycle line of the Swedish sporting goods retailer is composed of dirt bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, hybrid/commuter bikes and junior bikes, and will be priced between 1,000 and 10,000 Swedish kronor (€114 and €1,140-$149.50 and $1,495). It has been designed by Björn Appelquist and Erik Norlin. It will be introduced in roughly 20 Stadium stores throughout Sweden as a first step. Stadium's decision to enter the bicycle market comes after a successful test phase that began in 2006.
