Thomas Zettler has left as managing director in charge of marketing and sales of the Blizzard ski brand, after five years with this subsidiary of Tecnica Group. The departure was rather abrupt and the 57-year-old Zettler confirmed that it was Tecnica's wish to let him go after the integration of the Tecnica and Blizzard brands had been fully accomplished and his role could be taken over by a member of the Tecnica management. This is precisely what happened: Zettler is replaced by Stefano Abram, who has been and will continue to be the brand manager of Tecnica ski boots. Zettler previously worked in leading positions for Atomic and Marchon, Nike's eyewear licensee. At Blizzard, he helped to reposition the brand and to improve its profitability.
