Bloomberg reported that Tonal Systems is seeking $100 million in financing in a deal that would value the company at $1.9 billion. The home fitness start-up, launched in 2015 and based in San Francisco, has previously raised money from athletes including Serena Williams, LeBron James, Drew Brees and Mike Tyson. Existing investors Dragoneer Investment Group and L Catterton are reportedly expected to participate in the latest round, which would help Tonal continue to grow amid ongoing supply chain constraints. Tonal sells a home-workout station that allows people to connect virtually with a personal trainer.
