Top-Sport, a privately owned company with 20 stores in Finland, has warned that it may have to dismiss about 140 of its 250 employees to get out of its financial problems. To this end, the chain's management has started consultations with the personnel and indicated that some stores may be closed. More information should become available toward the end of November. For the moment, it seems that between five and seven stores may be closed and others moved to new locations, and that Top-Sport will focus more on its online retail operations.
