TikTok is joining the Tour de France (July 1-23,2023) and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift (July 23-30, 2023) as an official provider. From July 1, fans of the Tour will be able to experience these cycling races also with TikTok thanks to the platform’s creators and users. Every day, TikTok will feature exclusive content posted on the official @LeTourDeFrance account, along with the videos made and uploaded by the teams, cyclists, partners, fans and followers of the Tour, which can be accessed from the dedicated #TourDeFrance search page.

In other news about the social media service, it has just been revealed that TikTok is testing a new in-app feature called “Trendy Beat” in the UK. Users can use it to buy products that can be seen in trending videos directly through the app. Trendy Beat is part of Project S, which TikTok is using to expand its e-commerce operations, challenging other marketplaces such as Amazon and Shein.
