FIBO, the international fitness trade show originally scheduled for June 24-27, has been postponed to Nov. 4-7, taking place as usual in Cologne, Germany. The show will be covering member and customer acquisition and re-acquisition, digitalization, technology and e-commerce, market developments, trends and social changes. Like the previous one, this edition will digitally present content from the Aufstiegskongress, covering management, training, nutrition, coaching, sports economics and corporate health management. Lectures on physiotherapy, digitalization, occupational health, sports medicine and sports physiotherapy will take place at the Meetingpoint Health & Wellness. EuropeActive, the DSSV, FitTech, the DGSP, Georg Thieme Verlag, the German Wellness Association, SpaCamp and the Sportärztezeitung will be on hand to hold a “Sports Medicine Day” on Saturday. The European Health Futures Forum (EHFF), on Nov. 3, will feature interactive sessions with international speakers and present industry data for the post-Covid period. Further events will include EuropeActive’s European Fitness Associations Forum, the President’s Council Summit and the International Standards Meeting (ISM). The floorplan will differ from that of previous years. Halls 1, 4.2 and 5.2 will feature training equipment, health, consulting, interiors, wellness and functional training, while Halls 2 and 2.1 will feature fashion and beauty, nutrition, group fitness and bodybuilding.
