The London Ski & Snowboard Festival planned for Oct. 27 to 30, 2022, at Battersea Park is canceled. The new organizer of the event, the Smart Group, has published a statement on Facebook, declaring the cancellation of this year’s festival and the introduction of another new organization:
“We have been so excited to bring you the London Ski & Snowboard Festival 2022, but we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Festival. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are now preparing for a major venue launch, and to continue executing at a high standard, we require our full team to bring the project to life. We are pleased to have acquired a new partner who is keen to take on the festival’s organization for 2023. More information on the new partners and details for the London Ski & Snowboard Festival 2023 are to come. If you have already purchased a ticket to the event, we will be in touch with further information in due course.”
The London Ski & Snowboard Festival is the new version of the former London Ski Show that Telegraph Events organized until its end in 2020. The Smart Group took over as an organizer, planning a new festival in Battersea Park in October 2021, which was then postponed for a year due to Covid.
