With around 1,000 collections on 430,000 square meters of “Covid-19 compliant” exhibition space at MOC Munich and the newly designed Zenith area, “visitors are invited to be inspired, meet long-term partners and finally experience materials live again in their diversity and depth” at Munich Fabric Start (seasonal title: ”Rise”) on Aug. 31-Sept. 2 and denim-focused Bluezone on Aug. 31-Sept. 1.

As the two parallel events are the first face-to-face industry events in Munich in a long time, the organizer, Munich Fabric Start Exhibitions, has developed a hygiene concept that meets official requirements and goes a few steps further. Attendees must wear an FFP2 mask (provided free of charge) throughout the exhibition area. In addition, all visitors must pass through “screening stations” at the entrance where a valid Covid-19 test, convalescent certificate or vaccination certificate recognized in Germany must be presented. However, the show urges all visitors to familiarize themselves with their respective country’s travel and security instructions.

As usual, the shows provide a large pool of information and inspiration for the development of the FW 22/23 collections. The trend forums showcase five trend themes of Munich Fabric Start as well as four denim trend themes of Bluezone, which are also described in detail in the Trend Book and Color Code available on-site and online. In addition to the complete event program, www.munichfabricstart.com offers information on all exhibiting brands and collections with the brand search and the detailed hall plans.
