The next edition of Neonyt, Messe Frankfurt’s sustainable fashion and business show, will take place in Düsseldorf for the first time in January 2023. Originally known as the Paris-based Ethical Fashion Show, the event was bought by Messe Frankfurt in 2012 and merged with its own Greenshowroom Berlin. Neonyt will now take place biannually in a B2B format in Düsseldorf on a licensed basis with event partner Igedo, running concurrently with Igedo’s Fashn Rooms on Jan. 28-30, 2023. The established Fashionsustain sustainability conference will also take place together with Fashn Rooms. Messe Frankfurt said additional satellite events worldwide are in the planning. The first Neonyt event in a direct-to-consumer (D2C) format, called “Neonyt Lab,” was held in June 2022, attracting visitors from 22 countries. Messe Frankfurt is also planning to have more D2C events of this kind in Frankfurt.
