The ISPO Group reported in mid-December that the ISPO Beijing fair, originally scheduled for Dec. 28-30, was going to be “postponed” because of the Covid pandemic. Veronica Pang, who was promoted to head up the ISPO China team last month, has told us that it will not happen anytime soon. The show has been postponed to next Dec. 9-11, a few days after the new Nov. 28-30 dates of ISPO Munich, which seem to have been widely accepted by the industry.

Pang joined the ISPO China team in September 2012 to take care of sales and to develop the winter sports community. She then became the project manager for the 2018 edition of ISPO Beijing. She subsequently left but returned to ISPO China in March 2020 as project manager of ISPO Beijing. Pang is now in charge of both ISPO Beijing and ISPO Shanghai. Her position was held for ten years by Oliver Wang, but he became an industry consultant after 2018, helping the ISPO China team from time to time.
