Fiera Bolzano, the organizer of Prowinter, has announced that the 2022 edition of the event will have a one-day format, as opposed to its original three days. The decision was made in agreement with exhibitors, associations and other partners due to ongoing supply chain delays, Fiera Bolzano said. The 2022 edition, renamed Prowinter Season Finale, will be held on April 14 at the FieraMesse H1 Eventspace and MEC Meeting & Event Center Südtirol-Alto Adige in Bolzano, Italy.
The day of the exhibition is to be marked by many highlights: the meeting of South Tyrolean and Tyrolean cable car operators is confirmed, as well as this year’s Ski Rental Summit, which will review an exceptional season for the ski rental sector. No less important are the award ceremonies of the FISI, the South Tyrolean Ski and Snowboard Instructors and the Carabinieri Sports Group. There will also be a small exhibition area for companies presenting their novelties for the coming season. The day will end with the awards for Energiapura Children Series and an aperitif with a DJ set.
The plan is to return the 2023 event to its usual three-day format, as was the case before the pandemic. The Italian B2B event for mountain resort operators went virtual-only in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19.
