Twinner Iberia, the Spanish buying group, is introducing a new store format, called Foot on Mars, for the sale of fashion-oriented sneakers, with a plan to reach more than 30 doors by the end of 2015. Twinner has already signed supply agreements for this type of footwear with the likes of Adidas, Nike, Converse, Le Coq Sportif, New Balance, Onitsuka Tiger, Puma and Vans. The cooperative, which currently counts almost 300 stores, reports revenues of €17.5 million for 2013. The affiliated retailers had sales of more than €69 million including VAT.
