Two pádel trade shows are seeing the light of day in Italy, according to the Clúster Internacional del Pádel (CIP). The first to have been conceived by the event company Next Group is Padel Trend. This was supposed to take place in Rome, but a proposed deal with Fiera Roma to hold the event in June fell through. Next Group has since gained the support of the Italian Tennis Federation and secured a venue in Milan, where the show is now scheduled to take place on Jan. 13-15, 2023.
Show number two is the result of the interest in pádel awakened at Fiera Roma by the deal that fell through. Fiera Roma has since struck a deal with the Swedish company AT Event, organizer of this month’s Padel Expo Sweden in Stockholm. Together they have scheduled a Roman Padel Expo for the third week of Jan. 20-22, or one week after Milan’s Padel Trend.
