Two Swedish sports retailers – Sportringen, with about 50 stores, and Jaktia, with about 20 stores – have entered a collaboration agreement on buying days and for marketing purposes. The first common fair will be organized in early September in Borås, Sweden. About 30 sport suppliers, 10-15 fishing suppliers, and seven or eight hunting suppliers will showcase their spring/summer 2012 collections. A positive side effect will be that both chains will be able to widen their product ranges within the hunting, fishing and sport sectors.
