Tyr Sport has unveiled the Venzo, its new technical swimsuit. The product was presented at an event in Laguna Beach in early October, in the presence of swimming stars such as Katie Ledecky, five-time Olympic champion, and Ryan Lochte, 12-time Olympic medalist. According to the California-based swim and triathlon apparel brand, the Venzo is “the first and only technical suit in the swim industry to analyze drag from a microscopic perspective.” The new swimsuit is made of an ultra-smooth fiber, to create a frictionless and durable fabric. In addition, it features the “Endo Compression Cage,” a patent-pending taping and inner fabric that offers enhanced support for the abdominals, obliques and quadriceps. Also, the Venzo uses a “Seamless Exo Shell,” which consists of a seamless construction designed to streamline body position while decreasing overall drag according to the company. The Tyr Venzo will be available for pre-order on Nov. 15, for a debut on Jan. 1, 2019.
