Uncertainties about the authorized size of brand logos on the frames of bicycles used at the London Olympics were lifted through an agreement of the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) and the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). While the IOC rules initially stated that logos on the frames should not measure more than 60 square centimetres, discussions between the three parties have led to an agreement that bicycles may carry on both sides of the frame a brand logo of the same size as “commercially available and/or used in UCI races.”
