Uniqlo, the Japanese apparel brand that sponsored Novak Djokovic from 2012 to 2017, is said to be paying $30 million a year to Roger Federer under a new ten-year contract. The Swiss tennis champion has been earning an estimated $7.5 million to $10 million a year under a ten-year contract with Nike that expired last March. He skipped the French Open, but he has started playing in an Uniqlo outfit in the Wimbledon tennis tournament. Reportedly, Federer decided to stop wearing Nike's apparel because he could not obtain a lifetime contract from the Swoosh, like Cristiano Ronaldo or Lebron James. However, he still played the first Wimbledon rounds with a pair of Nike shoes on.
