Uniqlo will be opening its first Italian store in Milan in April 2019. The store will be located in Piazza Cordusio, just a few steps from Milan's Duomo, and will reportedly have a sales area of around 2,500 square meters on three floors. The Japanese brand, better known for its casual lifestyle apparel, sponsors various world class athletes. The brand was in the news this summer for its new ten-year endorsement deal with Roger Federer, who switched from Nike. Also in tennis, Uniqlo previously sponsored Novak Djokovic and is the current outfitter of Kei Nishikori.
