The German Uvex Safety Group and the Swedish company Mips want to work together to optimize head protection for people in the workplace. To this end, the two companies have announced their collaboration. Uvex will equip selected occupational safety helmets with the Mips safety system. This step will further expand the already successful cooperation between Mips and the Uvex Sports Group, where the focus is on the snow and bike sectors. The first work helmets equipped with Mips will be the Uvex Pheos S-KR Mips (available from June 2022) and the Uvex Pronamic Alpine Mips (available from August 2022). Other models will follow.
