Limited Edition 1923 Mantra

German ski manufacturer Völkl is currently celebrating its 100th birthday. Since its founding in 1923 by Franz Völkl, the Bavarian company has become Germany’s largest and last remaining major ski manufacturer and has been operating worldwide for decades. To properly celebrate this occasion, the company is offering two limited edition versions for its fans this winter: the Racetiger SL 100 Years LTD Edition and the M6 Mantra 100 Years LTD Edition.

In reference to the year of Völkl’s founding, a total of only 1,923 pairs of each are available for both models, which stand out from the classic models via a special design. Each pair is provided with a plaque on which the numbering from 1 to 1,923 is printed. In addition, the 100-year logo can be found on the binding plate.

Another special feature: the first part of the Limited Editions can be won exclusively. In this special edition, all the people who were involved in the development or production of the ski have signed their names by hand on the base. The sum of the signatures illustrates how many hand movements and working steps (over 125) are necessary to produce a ski “Made in Germany.” These models are only available exclusively via raffles, such as, for example, on Völkl’s social media channels, as part of collaborations and other campaigns such as charity events or celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary. All remaining copies will be available at selected retailers in winter 2023/24.
