VF Corporation has broken ground on the new campus in Alameda, California, that will house the new corporate headquarters of The North Face, JanSport and Lucy from the summer of 2012. Overlooking San Francisco Bay, the new facilities will make use of wind and solar power. They will feature external decks, spaces for outdoor meetings and recreation, and an organic vegetable garden.
