VF Corporation is making a further adjustment to its brand portfolio with a definitive agreement to sell its Reef brand of beach lifestyle products to the Rockport Group, which also holds the Aravon and Dunham brands Rockport, which is now run by Gregg Ribatt, was recently taken over by Charlesbank Capital Partners following bankruptcy proceedings. Reef, which is best known for its surf sandals, was acquired by VF in 2005. The brand will continue to operate independently out of its head office in Carlsbad, California.
