As previously reported, Wattbike recently appointed Greg Nieuwenhuys as its new chairman. The U.K.-based specialist in indoor bikes has now announced another leadership change, with Richard Baker stepping down as the company’s CEO. Baker will remain involved with the brand as a special advisor to the board. Stephen Loftus, most recently chief commercial officer at Brompton, will join Wattbike later this month and officially take over the CEO role from May 1, 2023. Prior to Brompton, specializing in folding bikes, Loftus worked in sales, marketing and innovation roles for companies in the international drinks sector, including Diageo, Red Bull and Constellation.
