While working on a new Absolute Run store format for specialty retailers, Sport 2000 International is offering the Absolute brand to sports retailers in all the countries in which it has retail members. The Absolute concept has been developed by a strategic working group comprising five national organizations, called Sport 2000 Europe. It is launched under the Absolute Teamsport format with a 325-square-meter store in Ruppach Goldhausen, Germany that opened on Sept. 28. The next Absolute Teamsport store is slated to open in Zurich in the first quarter of next year. Meanwhile, Sport 2000 International is developing a new generalist sports concept that is scheduled to be launched sometime in 2019.
