Viewership in France for the 2022 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift peaked with 5.1 million, namely a 45.6 percent audience share, tuning into France Télévisions during the final stage on July 31. The race attracted an average audience during its eight stages on France 2 and France 3 (part of France Télévisions) of 2.25 million viewers, representing a 26.4 percent audience share. The women’s cycling event drew nearly 20 million domestic viewers during more than 22 hours of live coverage on France Télévisions. Outside of France, more than 75 million hours of coverage were broadcast across seven European countries. The Letourfemmes.fr website attracted 1.5 million unique visitors and 2.8 million visits, with more than 600,000 visits to the (live) Race Center of the event. Online videos from official Tour de France accounts were viewed 22 million times. Laurent-Eric Le Lay, in charge of sports at France Télévisions, defined the audience of the race as “a nice surprise” and “a very solid base” for the future.
