Wintersteiger, the Austrian manufacturer of facilities for storage and maintenance of snowsport equipment, has taken on the Austrian distribution for Conform’able, Sidas’ brand for functional soles. The company’s Italian operations have already been in charge of Conform’able in Italy for the last two years. Wintersteiger takes over effective for the fall-winter season 2009-10 from a local distributor, Sport Equipment, whose owner is slowing down for age reasons. Exclusively dedicated to Conform’able, the incumbent two sales representatives were taken on by Wintersteiger. Additionally, a new sales director, Arno Jandl, was hired; he most recently served as sales rep for Scott in the region.
