Wintersteiger, the big Austrian manufacturer of service solutions for snow sports, cracked the €100 million mark in total turnover for the first time in its history during the last financial year, after reaching a level of €93.4 million in the previous year. More detailed figures will be presented on April 12. Meanwhile, Markus Piber, board member in charge of sales and marketing for the last four years, has resigned for personal reasons. We hear that he had to commute too much between Wintersteiger's headquarters and the place in Tyrol where he and his family live. A successor to Piber is yet to be announced.
