Wintersteiger, the Austrian supplier of ski rental and ski service systems, has revised its corporate structure and presents itself as a strategic holding with five independent companies since July 1, 2023. “With regard to the industrialization of our products, we have a lot planned for the next few years,” the company said. “We are therefore combining the production and value-added units – purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, logistics and central development – in a separate company, Wintersteiger Operations GmbH.” As a result, the former business units have also become independent companies: Wintersteiger Sports GmbH, Wintersteiger Seedmech GmbH and Wintersteiger Woodtech GmbH. Wintersteiger Metals, which has already been a separate limited liability company (GmbH), completes the group of companies. As of July 1, 2023, Wintersteiger AG was renamed Wintersteiger Holding AG. The company is particularly proud of its new company address: Johann-Michael-Dimmel-Strasse 9 in Ried, Austria – the existing company headquarters – was renamed “Wintersteigerstrasse 1” to mark the company’s 70th anniversary this year.
