With the sharp rise in e-commerce and customers demanding short and flexible delivery times, Intersport Sweden has chosen to move its logistics from two locations to a new central warehouse, occupying 24,400 square meters and managed by Catena Fastigheter. It will also switch from its current 3PL solution to a new automated warehouse solution, known as Autostore, supplied by Element Logic. The installation of the logistics is starting this month. Intersport Sweden has chosen to locate the warehouse in the town of Nässjö, where it will employ about 40 people. The operation will replace the company's current e-commerce warehouse in Taberg and its central warehouse in Landvetter to the new facility. The sports chain expects the establishment to create more than 40 new jobs in Nässjö.
