Wolfgang Mayrhofer, the 57-year-old managing director of Atomic Austria, has again become the spokesman for the Austrian ski industry in the country's woodworking industry federation. He succeeds Franz Föttinger, the chief executive of Fischer Sports, which had held this role since 2012. Mayrhofer already represented the sector between 2008 and 2012. Mayrhofen has been one of the three members of Atomic's executive board since 2011. In the previous seven years, he served as Austrian general manager of the Amer Sports group, the parent company of Atomic.
