After founder Bodo Lambertz sold his company to Swiss investors in November 2021, Wollerau-based X-Technology Swiss Research & Development AG – the parent company of the X-Bionic and X-Socks brands – is now set to launch into the future with a new management team. Most notably, some familiar names from the former environment of Mammut Sports Group, which was sold last spring by Conzzeta to the financial investor Telemos Capital from London, come into play here. This is no coincidence, as the former CEO of Mammut, Oliver Pabst, who left Mammut after the sale, is chairman of the board of directors of X-Technology.
The new management team of the Swiss performance sportswear company is now composed as follows:

Taking over as CEO on April 1 is Maximilian Lenk, who had worked at Mammut Sports Group for 10 years, most recently as chief product officer. During his time, he made a significant contribution to the strategic realignment and digitalization of the brand.
Jana Hildenbrand already joined X-Technology as CFO on Feb. 1. She was most recently director of corporate controlling & indirect procurement at Marc O’Polo and played a key role in the brand’s strong growth for more than 20 years.
As the new chief commercial officer, Patrick Strumpf will start at X-Technology on May 1. He was most recently a member of the executive board at Brack.ch, where he built up the Home&Living division as well as the Private Label division.
Also starting in May, Martijn Jegerings, most recently head of brand strategy & data intelligence at Mammut Sports Group, will join the company as chief marketing officer. He was jointly responsible for the very successful digitalization of the Mammut brand and is co-founder of the outdoor sportswear company Open Wear.
The sales team at X-Technology will also be reorganized effective June 1: Urs Rüttimann, head of sales German speaking countries, has worked at Adidas for almost 24 years, most recently as director key account Switzerland & Austria and member of the executive board. Christian Härig, head of sales corporate business/special projects, was most recently market manager Switzerland at BMC Switzerland. Prior to that, he worked for 10 years at the Mammut Sports Group – most recently as head of corporate business. Steffen Pabst (not related to the chairman of the board), head of global sales, has already been working for X-Bionic as commercial director since April 2019. He previously worked as a sales manager at Odlo, operations director at Starbucks and director of retail stores at Nike.
X-Technology has become a leader in textile performance technologies through its X-Bionic and X-Socks brands. The X-Bionic brand has won the Plus X Award as the most innovative brand of the year 13 times in a row. In total, X-Technology has over 800 international patent applications to its credit.
