Xpose360, a German online marketing agency, evaluated six sporting goods online stores in terms of search engine optimization. With a rating of 23.92, the online visibility of SportScheck.com took first place in the ranking, followed by Decathlon.de (14.75), 11teamsports.de (5.0), Intersport.de (4.38), Cortexpower.de (0.93) and Sportbedarf.de (0.52). Xpose used the default value of Sistrix, a “software as a service” (SaaS) solution provider. The analysis was conducted in the first quarter of 2017. Xpose360 set up a set of 19 keywords for internet searches. Football boots were in first place with 90,500 searches, and “Adidas soccer shoes” in second place with 49,500 searches, and here 11teamsports.de got the biggest number of hits, followed by SportScheck.de.
