Yonex raised its sales by 13.7 percent to 54,159 million Japanese yen (€437.9m-$495.7m) for the full year to the end of March. The operating income of the Japanese racquet sports and golf company soared by 57.5 percent to ¥3,279 million (€26.5m-$30.0m) and its net profit was up by 31.4 percent to ¥2,227 million (€18.0m-$20.4m). The group's guidance for the fiscal year to the end of March 2017 calls for sales to reach ¥59.5 billion (€481.1m-$544.4m), an increase of nearly 10 percent, while operating income is predicted to come in at ¥3.7 billion (€29.9m-$33.9m), up by 12.8 percent, and net profit at ¥2.5 billion (€20.2m-$22.9m), which would be an increase of 12.2 percent.
