Zalando posted a 25 percent sales increase to €916.4 million for the second quarter against the same period of 2015. Earnings before interest and taxation (Ebit) almost tripled to €80.9 million. The Berlin-based fashion e-tailer said the number of active customers grew to 18.8 million by the end of the quarter, with the average orders per active customers reaching 3.3 orders per year.
