ZEG, the biggest cooperative of independent bike dealers in Europe, has announced that it will pull out of the Eurobike show in Friedrichshafen. It will invest more of its resources in the ZEG Bike Show in its home town of Cologne, opening it up to non-members. Its next show is scheduled for July 21-24, 2017. ZEG federates a total of 960 German dealers. It is the exclusive distributor in Germany for Pinarello and it owns several private brands including Pegasus, Bulls, Green Mover and Zemo, plus the rights to Kettler branded bikes. As reported, it's not sure whether Giant will participate in Eurobike either. The big Taiwanese company has decided not to show its new models in a two-day demo event at Interbike, which is taking place in Las Vegas on Sept. 19-23.
